In Tsakhkadzor is located the Main Sports Complex of Armenia (former USSR main sports complex). It’s height above the sea level is 1900-2100m. Here one can revel in all the necessary conditions for being trained in 35 sports. In 2004 the covered modern pool was put in turn for operation; it is being heated, has 50m length and meets all international criteria.

The Sports Complex was built and put into operation in 1966-1967 on the eve of the Olympic Games of Mexico. It is completely renovated and reopened in January 01, 2008.
